Had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Lauralie Ezra, an entrepreneur in Las Vegas. Lauralie needed images that showed here in a multitude of ways, reflecting her image as a socialite, nature girl, and a few thrown in there just for fun! I think they went well.

Desert Sunset Swimsuit Photo Shoot – Las Vegas, NV

Had a fantastic shoot yesterday with Katrina from Red Agency here in Las Vegas, NV. I’m beginning to like this whole swimsuit thing!

Some learning points for me from the shoot:

1. When the mountains are in the west, the sun sets a full hour earlier than you expect it to. OUCH.

2. Shooting in 100 Degree+ weather doesn’t have to be torture, but do bring TONS of water. And a handful of assistants. But at the very least the water.

3. I really need to invest in C-stands. My lights didn’t fall over, but it was a near thing. Desert wind is no joke, even with 40 pounds of sandbag on the light stand.

Special thanks to Katrina for braving the heat with me. She was a trooper!

Expect much more from this shoot as there were more setups and a lot of great pictures will be forthcoming.

Swimsuit Madness – Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Christle for her portfolio this past week. She was in need of high end swimsuit photography and we were lucky enough to have access to an incredible 50′s style pool and rock garden. Very Vegas! The photographs came out very well thanks to a beautiful location, a great model, and a fun-filled relaxed atmosphere.
